The alliance represents licensed dispensaries across New York State by serving as a unified retail voice in policy, regulation, and reform. Q: Why is there a ticket fee?
A: Our workshops are intended to be accessible. Ticket fees cover venue rental, instructors, materials handling, and administrative costs so we can continue to offer low-cost and free seats. If you cannot afford a ticket, please contact events@wegrownyc.org to ask about scholarship seats. If you can attend without a starter kit, email events@wegrownyc.org so we can reallocate the kit to someone who needs it.

Join us for an in-depth Home Cultivation Basics Workshop at Torches NYC in the heart of New York City, designed for novice home growers, the simply curious, and professional cannabis cultivators alike.

A curated musical journey complementing our Summer issue themes of consciousness, wellness, and premium cannabis culture.
Every issue of The Other has a soundtrack, and the Arts Issue runs deep.
It starts where Fab 5 Freddy started, with the Blondie record that first put hip-hop on the radio, and follows that thread out through soul, funk, jazz, and reggae. Call it a nod to African American Music Appreciation Month, and to the artists who built the culture the rest of us are standing on.
From there it drifts into the jam and Americana we’ve had on repeat all summer, the same sound rolling through the Great South Bay festival lineup out on the Long Island water. Gov’t Mule, My Morning Jacket, Little Feat, the whole crowd.
