I am certain that living is never certain
and there may never be another chance
to say that, to do this, or to dance
There is no reserved seat for us
upon future’s flight
no vessel or means to go back
even for a moment
So, while we are still privileged
enough to experience
the alchemy of the consciousness soul,
really all that we know is that THIS IS IT
And yet, when I think of making a choice
devoid of languid laziness or future fear,
I feel all their eyes on me, embarrassed
to speak mind talk, the honest heart love
These timed or unchanging souls stuck
in the momentum of the past
constantly getting ready for tomorrow
You can wait and wait to never pursue promptly
the turning point of a life lived,
dictated by your true vision
Forever. Right Now.
Anything possible,
do not retreat from big moments
just continue getting timely things done
We can’t procrastinate or
ignore the Unknown’s phone calls or
forward the Unknown’s emails
the Unknown is all that we have to take for granted
Mandated to not waste time,
our brief moment in the sun
It is better to risk your deepest feels
than to die with them
Breathe that brevity
and hold nothing real back
Enjoy the riches that you have.
