The New York cannabis industry is preparing for a new kind of business event with the arrival of the Flower Expo. The Flower Expo Local: NYC, a scaled-down, single-day version of one of the U.S.’s fastest-growing cannabis trade shows, will debut on February 12, 2026, at The DL in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. This event series is designed to facilitate quick, genuine connections, moving away from large-scale convention formats.
“New York is one of the fastest-growing cannabis markets in the country, having become the third-largest market last year after only a few years of legalization,” said Flower Expo CEO Jason Bello. “We can’t wait to get to know all the brands and dispensaries helping to grow the industry in the state.”

This curated event, which embraces a fast-paced, distinctly New York style, is expected to host more than 30 brands exhibiting to representatives from over 250 dispensaries across the state. The primary goal is direct relationship-building, deal-making, and product discovery.
Attendees will see a blend of major industry players and local favorites, including brands like Fernway, Edie Parker, ROVE, Claybourne Co., Wyld, and Kushy Punch, all showcasing the products driving the next wave of legal cannabis culture.
The venue, The DL, enhances the experience with its bohemian-meets-modern aesthetic, featuring a full-service bar sponsored by Fernway, a rooftop patio for mingling, and a panoramic view of downtown, making the event feel more exclusive than a standard trade show.

The event arrives as the New York market is gaining momentum, underscored by strong figures: $1.8 billion in legal cannabis sales in 2025 and over 200% job growth in the sector. More importantly, it highlights the thriving community—cultivators, retailers, creatives, and advocates—driving this growth.
Flower Expo Local signifies an evolution in cannabis business, shifting from traditional expo halls to more intimate, culture-forward experiences.
For a state’s cannabis market still defining itself, Flower Expo NYC serves as both a milestone and a reflection of the Empire State’s progress and high aspirations.
