It feels like a new dispensary opens up every week, and it’s getting hard to keep track of them all. I wanted to check a few out and see what’s hitting the shelves that I haven’t gotten my hands on lately. So I rounded up a few friends, packed the whip, and we set off on our summertime journey.

The first stop was local to me in Queens. Terp Bros just opened their second location in Ozone Park, the perfect place to grab an eighth for a few joints while we cruised around town. With the Knicks fresh off winning the chip (GO NY, GO NY, GOOOOO), there was no better pickup than Florette‘s orange jar. The bottom is clear, so you can actually see the nugs, and I went with their sativa-leaning Leo Stone’s Tourbillon strain. One, because I’d never heard of it, and two, because it was loaded with limonene, so I knew it would keep my crew up throughout the day. We thanked the leading Terp Bro himself, Jeremy, for the assist and rolled a few up on the spot. The moment we cracked the jar, we knew we’d picked right. The high was exactly what we were after: mind-lifting, energetic, and just enough to put us in the mood for stop number two.

From there, we rolled into the city to check out The Alchemy‘s newly opened dispensary in the Flatiron District. The vibe in-store was unreal. Their whole shop is built around rituals, and so is Hive & High, so it felt like the perfect match. We grabbed their Focus gummies, an immune-boosting, anti-inflammatory raw wildflower honey blend. Each one packs 5mg THC, 10mg CBD, and 10mg CBG; a mix that wouldn’t knock my group out, but would keep the drive going.

Our last stop was LICC, where we rounded out the stash before heading to the beach. Because what better place to post up on a hot summer day than the sand, with all your favorite goodies to dabble in?
