Olio NYC “Gas Tanker” Cold-Cure Live Rosin Review
I’ve been waiting a long time to finally review something from Olio NYC, so getting the chance to review “Gas Tanker” felt overdue in the best way. Shoutout to Hudson Valley Roll Call for bringing the community together and giving me the space to connect with some of the top growers and hashmakers in New York. As a patient living with endometriosis and ADHD, I look for concentrates that can support my body and my focus at the same time, so I always review with intention and transparency.
On aroma, I would score “Gas Tanker” a strong 7.5. The “Sour Dubb” comes in first with that sharp diesel, and then the “Motorbreath” follows with a heavier, deeper gas that layers underneath. When you give it a quick whip, the two layers separate so that you can appreciate them both on their own. It’s loud, gassy, earthy, and surprisingly clean all at once.
The visual earns an 8. It has that pale, wet, fatty look, glossy in a way that makes you drool, if you’re into that look. I am. I dabbed it at 510°F, and it melted smoothly with minimal residue. I always look at my quartz after I dab as part of my review. The leftover aroma reminded me of dark caramel, not of burnt material, which told me the wash was handled properly.

For taste, I give it another 7.5. It’s pine-lemony, earthy, and sour: simple but consistent.
The effects took about five to seven minutes to settle in. I felt the energy shift first—uplifted, clearer, and I was able to sit at my computer and focus. About an hour later, the body effects followed: relaxing, munchies, but I never felt couch-locked. It read like an indica-dominant hybrid with enough balance to stay productive and present.
My final score is an 8, and I’m genuinely excited to see what Olio brings next to the New York rosin market.
