Ripple & Roses: NY Craft Flower Cup Awards Party

Ripple & Roses is hosted by New York Small Farma (NYSF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting small cannabis farmers and social and economic equity cultivators in New York’s adult-use cannabis market.

This year marks NYSF’s fourth annual NY Craft Flower Cup, and the entries are absolutely fire. Open to both licensed cultivators and home growers, this year’s competition features 42 flower submissions from more than 30 farms and growers across New York State. Entries are being evaluated by a diverse panel of cultivators, enthusiasts, and connoisseurs from around the state.

The event runs from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and combines education, celebration, and community. The first half of the day features educational programming and industry discussions, followed by the NY Craft Flower Cup Awards Ceremony at 4:00 PM. After the awards, settle in for an afternoon and evening of good vibes, great conversations, music, and community.

Meet the farmers behind New York’s finest craft cannabis and learn directly from some of the industry’s leading voices. Featured presentations include:

• Dr. Bonhotal of Cornell University on composting, compost teas, and building healthy living soils

• John Kagia, Executive Director of OCM’s Cannabis Advisory Board, discussing what federal Schedule III rescheduling could mean for New York cannabis businesses

• An expert grower panel exploring genetics, phenohunting, breeding, and the development of unique cultivars

At 4:00 PM, we’ll announce the winners of the 2026 NY Craft Flower Cup and celebrate the cultivators helping define New York’s cannabis future.
